ESS Data Recovery announces the opening of a laboratory in Pleasanton, California.

October 1, 2005 -- ESS Data Recovery, Inc., based in Highland, Illinois, has announced the opening of its second location in Pleasanton, California.

According to President Ben Carmitchel, the need for data recovery services has increased significantly since relocating to Highland from Carbondale, Illinois in 2003.     Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, for instance, created a massive data loss catastrophe for businesses on the Gulf Coast.
